Answers to the most common questions about how Calibre works, credits, generation time, cancellation, and your data.
01How does Calibre work?
Calibre turns your selfies into natural-looking dating photos in four steps:
- Upload selfies.Go to the Character page and upload 8–15 good selfies. These are used to build a “character” — a model that knows what you look like.
- Create your character. Once your selfies are uploaded, we process them and lock in your character. This takes a minute or two.
- Pick a scene. Browse 100+ scenes — rooftop bars, beach walks, gym shots, formal settings, and more. Choose one that suits the vibe you want.
- Generate. Choose how many photos you want (1–5), spend the credits, and receive your photos in roughly 2–3 minutes. Download the ones you like and add them to your profile.

02How many photos do I get?
Each credit produces one photo. When you start a generation, you choose how many photos you want — between 1 and 5. The corresponding number of credits is deducted from your balance when the generation completes.
Your monthly plan determines how many credits you receive each billing cycle. Credits reset at the start of each cycle and do not roll over — unused credits from one month are not carried to the next.
03How long does generation take?
Most generations complete in 2–3 minutes per photo. During busy periods it may take slightly longer. You will see a progress indicator on the generate page, and the results appear automatically when they are ready — no need to refresh. If a generation is still running after 10 minutes, contact us and we will investigate.
04Do credits roll over?
No. Credits are allocated at the start of each billing cycle and expire at the end of that cycle. Unused credits are not carried forward to the next month. This is consistent with how the subscription is priced — each month's credits are intended for use that month.
05How do I cancel or get a refund?
To cancel:Go to Settings in your account and select “Manage subscription.” Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access and your remaining credits until then.

06Are these real photos?
No. Every image Calibre produces is AI-generated — it is a synthetic image, not a photograph taken by a camera. The scene you are placed in does not exist as a real event or location.

07How do I get the best results?
Results are directly tied to the quality and variety of your input selfies. The most common reason for disappointing results is a weak selfie set — dark photos, heavy filters, sunglasses, or too few distinct angles.

08Is my data safe? How do I delete it?
Your selfies and generated photos are stored securely and used only to run the Service. We do not sell your data or share your likeness with third parties for their own use. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
To delete your data:
- Delete individual selfies or photos from the Character page or your gallery at any time.
- Delete your account entirely from the Settings page. This permanently removes all your uploads, generated photos, and account data from our systems.
